8 Week Beginner Wheel Throwing- Thursday's 6:30PM- 9pm 7/3-8/21

In our beginner wheel throwing classes students will learn the basics of wheel throwing with an emphasis on forming and altering the cylinder. Students will learn the entire process of pottery making:  throwing on the wheel, trimming and polishing off work, attaching handles and decoration, and glazing. Classes meet once a week for 8 weeks. 

All classes are 2.5 hours long with instruction occurring in the first 1.5 hours of class. The last hour of class is self guided with the presence of the teacher for hand on help and answering any questions you may have.

• Open studio practice time 

• Unlimited clay 

• Firing of 6 pieces then work is 6 cents per cubic inch 

• Use of all studio equipment

• Studio access for 2 weeks after the class session ends to finish all work made in the class
